MEET FOREST HEIS
Forest Heis is Forest Hills to the core. A proud graduate of the district and one of three generations of Heises to attend Forest Hills schools, Forest has deep roots in the community. After completing his education and meeting his wife in medical school, they chose to return home to raise their four children—three graduates of the district and a current senior at Turpin High School. His time as a student in Forest Hills instilled in him the value of public education, and he has dedicated much of his life to giving back to the district that shaped him.
Professionally, Forest is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with OrthoCincy. He graduated valedictorian from Turpin High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Stanford, his medical degree in Cincinnati, and completing residency at Duke University. He has served as team physician for Northern Kentucky University for more than two decades and has held leadership roles including Chief of Surgery, Chairman of the Orthopaedic Institute at St. Elizabeth, and board member at OrthoCincy. These positions have required the same qualities—professionalism, tenacity, and steady leadership—that he brings to his role as a school board member.

Professional. Experienced. Trusted.
MY MISSION
Forest Hills is more than a district—it is home. It is where generations of my family have received an outstanding education and where I had the privilege of serving thousands of students during 12 years on the school board. That service is rooted in gratitude for all that Forest Hills has given me and a responsibility to give back with integrity, professionalism, and vision.
The past several years have been challenging, but I believe the future can and should be brighter. My mission is to restore trust, bring stability, and reaffirm Forest Hills as a destination district in Ohio. With my proven leadership and commitment to students, I am dedicated to ensuring that Forest Hills delivers excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts while remaining a source of pride for the entire community.
